Kristin Mathieson, FNP
Kristin Mathieson is a native of mid coast Maine. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Maine. Ms. Mathieson received her Master of Science from Husson College and her Family Nurse Practitioner Certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She joined Dermatology Associates in 2002 and has been practicing as a nurse practitioner since 2007. Prior to transitioning to the role of Nurse Practitioner she spent five years as the Clinical Coordinator. Her previous nursing experience includes working in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit at Maine Medical Center. Prior to that, she worked for 13 years in both a clinical and administrative role at Palm Beach Dermatology in West Palm Beach, Florida. She is a member of the Dermatology Nurse Association and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Ms. Mathieson loves living in the Portland area and enjoys all Maine has to offer including skiing, hiking, and exploring the lakes and coastline. She resides in Cumberland with her husband.
