Richard L. Torbeck M.D.
Dr. Torbeck is a native of Ohio. He received his undergraduate training at Miami University of Ohio. He received his M.D. degree from University of Toledo College of Medicine. He completed his dermatology residency at the Sidney Kimmel School of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Torbeck completed additional postgraduate training with a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Additionally, he completed a fellowship in American Society of Dermatologic Surgery: Cosmetic Dermatology at Mount Sinai. He is certified in Mohs Micrographic surgery and dermatology through the American College of Mohs Surgery and the American Board of Dermatology. He enjoys seeing patients for skin cancer and benign skin growths requiring removal. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Mohs College of Surgery. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals, many media inquiries, and textbooks. Dr. Torbeck resides in Portland with his wife. He enjoys hiking, running, traveling, and spending time with his family.
